Termasuk urusan rilis produk, BCA mengajak konsumen untuk mencoba produk tersebut sebelum resmi dirilis ke publik. “Kami mengharapkan masukan agar dapat berinovasi sesuai atau bahkan melebihi harapan nasabah.”
Untuk menemukan ide-ide atau inovasi bisnis yang mampu mendongkrak layanan perbankan lebih efisien, BCA menggelar Financial Hackathon (Finhacks). Keterangannya bisa dilihat di sini.
Acara yang sudah berlangsung April lalu tersebut (berharap tahun depan ada lagi) diikuti 180 peserta dengan 460 ide terkait layanan keuangan perbankan. Dari beragam ide tersebut, sekitar 59 ide dilombakan lagi dan terpilih delapan ide terbaik.
Namun BCA hanya mengambil tiga ide besar. Salah satunya Fariz Tadjoedin yang menjadi juara 1 dalam Finhacks April lalu. Ia menghadirkan inovasi unik dengan memandang aplikasi chatting sangat akrab di masyarakat sehingga membuat solusi yang mampu menghubungkan perbankan dan nasabah lebih dekat.
“Kami juga sedang menggodok delapan ide dari pemenang Finhacks tersebut. Nanti akan dipilih mana yang paling sesuai dengan kebutuhan nasabah. Yang pasti inovasi tidak akan berhenti sampai kapanpun,” kata Hermawan.
Selain itu, BCA juga menggelar BCA Innovation Award. Ajang ini untuk menggali ide bisnis namun untuk kalangan internal. BCA yang memiliki sekitar 22 ribu karyawan diharapkan mampu menelurkan ide-ide bisnis yang bermanfaat bagi perusahaan dan nasabah.
BCA juga bekerja sama dengan startup, khususnya fintech tadi. Bagi BCA, startup terutama fintech bukan saingan bisnis meski mereka juga tahu persis apa yang diinginkan konsumen.
Hermawan menilai, bank punya nasabah dan nasabah tersebut tahu perbankan yang dijadikan tempat untuk menyimpan uangnya. Tapi startup belum tentu paham penggunanya apakah tahu ada perusahaan seperti itu.
Intinya, bisnis apapun harus terikat kepercayaan (trust). “Ini yang tidak dimiliki fintech. Kita akan kolaborasi dengan startup, termasuk fintech karena mereka ujung-ujungnya ke bank juga,” katanya.
Presiden Direktur BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja mengatakan, sekarang gawai sudah semakin mungil namun memiliki kegunaan luar biasa. Nanti bisa jadi gawai sebesar token untuk mengunci, mengatur pendingin udara (AC), hingga transaksi perbankan.
“Kadang teknologi yang tidak terpikirkan zaman dulu malah terwujud nanti. Siap-siap nanti universitas tidak ada lagi secara fisik karena semua bisa virtual, siapa tahu,” kata Jahja.
Menurut Jahja, bank tetap harus ada sentuhan manusianya (human touch) dan memiliki hubungan interaksi. “Tapi perbankan juga sangat terbantu dengan teknologi.”
Saat ini BCA sedang menggodok hasil ide dari pemenang Finhacks lalu. Salah satunya chat banking, virtualisasi kartu kredit, hingga aplikasi e-commerce. “Nanti akan dipilih yang akan diseriusi.”
Sebagai institusi perbankan, BCA juga menyadari teknologi merupakan salah satu faktor utama pendukung bisnis. Teknologi akan terus menjadi bagian tidak terpisahkan dari perkembangan produk dan layanan perbankan di tahun-tahun mendatang.
BCA berupaya tetap menjadi yang terdepan dalam menyediakan teknologi terkini di Indonesia guna memberikan layanan yang melebihi harapan nasabah serta membuka lini bisnis baru di era digital banking yang semakin dinamis.
